I am having a not-so-good day in a line of particularly dark days. I have basically given up and decided January is just not gonna do it for me. So between the mopings I find relief in reading good books, re-watching old good movies (like Last Night) and discovering new ones. Today I watched Begin Again, granted, it was for the love of Adam (that guy though!!) but I ended up loving it for everything else.

It has a very indie movie touch about it, it has Keira, who I’ve fallen in love with since yesterday and Mark Ruffalo who I love already. The concept is music based, which always lifts my mood… and the music in itself is SPECTACULAR. The main song, Lost Stars is also nominated for the Oscars (sang by Bae, ofcourse!)

This definitely raised my mood today, so I hope you have a listen and enjoy as well. Cheers. 🙂

It might seem like the same old regular topsy turvy disastrous world to y’all, but for me, the whole superficial side of my world has taken a serious blow. Honestly, it’s like while I was on my summer vacation doing marathons of my favorite shows and reading my books, everything around me changed. Zac Efron got Michelle Rodriguez, George Clooney got a fiance, Ryan Gosling decided to be a daddy and the celebrity love of my life Adam Levine, decided to get married! What!??  What is happening!!???

And if the celebrity world was being rude and unfriendly, the real world decided to follow, the remaining few of my friends decided to get married back to back in the coming months, leaving me the only one who needs “Single Ladies” as her anthem. That, and my BFF is finally moving away in Sept, and the panic attacks have started already. So if everyone around you is in a relationship/married/mommies/daddies is there something wrong with you being single and almost all the time happy about it?

Hating aside, I’m happy for all the people in my life (celebrity and otherwise) moving on and settling down, and if they ever read this.. may they have long and happy lives 😀 Especially Adam Levine (you broke my heart, but I’m over it – Love you!)

So Congratulations to all the married happy couples around – and I dedicate to you this lovely, new, totally inappropriate to this post song – for the love of Adam Levine! ❤

So there are a lot of reasons this is the quote of choice today. I am having a full blown, all out crush on Adam Levine at the moment, like a serious, border-line obsession kind of crush. Second, the reality show of choice nowadays is The Voice and Maroon 5 performed this song over there. It’s on constant repeat on my I-pod… and also the video is A-mazing. It’s not the typical maroon 5 model dancing around in half clothes (well, there is that..) but it is much much more creative. Also, there is something about the song, this line in particular… that just grabs you. So thank you for reading patiently while I gush about how awesome Adam is (tatoos and all, eeeep), and enjoy the song!
